From the archive, April 28, 2013: looking back on a corporate event held in Niigata Prefecture.

I performed the opening act for the "2013 ALL JTB KANTO MEETING," held at the NASPA New Otani resort hotel.

An Opening Performance at NASPA New Otani

The venue was NASPA New Otani, a resort hotel in Echigo-Yuzawa, Niigata Prefecture.

To open this gathering of JTB Kanto, I delivered a calligraphy performance.

An opening, with so many eyes and expectations gathered on the stage, always sharpens the spirit even further.

Two Words: "Creation" and "Leap"

On two large panels prepared on stage, I wrote a word charged with meaning on each.

• 「創造」 (Sozo — Creation): to create new value and new experiences.
• 「飛躍」 (Hiyaku — Leap): to soar toward the future with energy and ambition.

Wishing for the company's strong vision and the further success of its employees, I wrote with all my body and soul.

Entrusting a Wish to Words

I was glad to offer "Creation" and "Leap" to a company setting out toward its future.

Standing in that grand venue, surrounded by the energy of the attendees, was an unforgettable experience for me.
